Modern Slavery Policy.

Rebus Consulting Services Ltd are committed to understanding all modern slavery risks related to its business activities. It is also committed to implementing procedures to ensure there is no instances of slavery or human trafficking in its on business or supply chains.

At Rebus, we recognise and understand that we have a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking therefore a zero-tolerance approach is taken to both.

Organisational structure

Rebus employs and contracts out specialist workers in the UK for use by third parties. We provide services, skills and expertise in the Construction, IT, Rail and Healthcare sectors.

Our supply chain

Our supply chain includes the sourcing & provision of labour for temporary assignments to the recruitment industry for use on projects and assignments.

Responsibility

The Managing Director, Marc Flynn, is responsible for the anti-slavery procedures within Rebus. This is done with the complete support of the Board of Directors. Duties involve:

  • The creation and implementation of all policies relating to modern slavery risks
  • The identification of high risk areas and steps needed to mitigate the risks of modern slavery
  • The promotion of an environment of continuous improvement to raise awareness of modern slavery risks
What have we done

In order to prevent slavery and human trafficking in its supply chain Rebus has taken the following steps:

  • We have developed a modern slavery policy which reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective procedures to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place at any stage of the supply chain.
  • We follow a strict agency registration process including:
    • Completion of our new agency/client payroll form
    • Check of agency website
    • Check VAT number
    • Credit check
    • Company Incorporation check
  • Adhering to national minimum wage legislation at all times.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Rebus’ slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 5 April 2023. This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors who will review on an annual basis.
